What to do in Copenhagen

Travelling to Copenhagen soon and want the latest news about what to enjoy?

Being out and about in Copenhagen is a breeze as most attractions are easily accessible via foot or by bicycle, which is the mode of transportation for the vast majority of Danes.

There is a lot to do in Copenhagen and many are aware of the landmarks that one must experience such as the Tivoli Gardens, Nyhavn and the list goes on. But there is so much more to this small design & gastronomic capital.

Highlights of Copenhagen :

Attractions - Christiansborg Palace tower, the tallest tower in the city with a picturesque view. Can we catch a glimpse of PM Birgitte Nyborg? (Borgen)

Eatery – Kødbyens Fiskebar – located in the meatpacking district focusing on fresh seafood from Scandinavia & France – the world is your oyster, literally!!

Wine bar – Ved Stranden – come here to drink the wine in season in the right glass and served at the correct temperature – ahh a winelover’s heaven!!

Wellness - Ni'mat Spa at Hotel Kong Arthur by Søerne – The Lakes – yes please!!

Coffee - Original Coffee Trianglen – Coffee with a good balance and hints of chocolate, marcipan and dark berries. Come here for genuine Danish Hygge (cosiness) – can it get any better?

Bakery – Emmerys or Brød - A visit to Denmark is not complete without trying the fantastic sweet treats and not to mention the heavenly freshly baked bread. Ahh Childhood memories….

Chocolate – Summerbird – pure organic chocolate and covered almonds in all sorts of variations; white, dark, liquorish (national Danish obsession), raspberry and so forth.

Copenhagen awaits….
