This full day private tour is a journey down to the southern coast of Iceland through the country’s farmlands, majestic mountains, glaciers and volcanoes, with the interior on one side and vast Atlantic Ocean views on the other. Once you have departed the city centre with your private guide, the landscape quickly changes and soon you arrive at the Seljalandsfoss waterfall. With your guide, walk around and behind the falls along the paths. The staircase and paths around Skógafoss waterfall allow you to climb alongside the cascading falls (i.e., bring a jacket).
This area has many awe-inspiring features, including the beautiful Skógafoss watefall and the stunning Reynisfjara with its unique black sand beach. Visit the top sights of the south and experience the amazing diversity of Iceland, as well as discovering and exploring various local secrets with an experienced guide. One of the highlights of the tour will be visiting the Katla Ice cave.
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant during the day. In the early evening, you will be dropped off at your hotel in the South Coast.
