The Hanseatic League established itself here in 1350 and had a trade monopoly that lasted 200 years. We'll then make our way down to the Baltic side and catch a ferry boat to the island of Djurgården, where we'll take a tour of the Vasa Museum, which houses the Vasa ship.

After sinking on her maiden voyage after 20 minutes at sea, the Vasa lay underwater for 333 years until marine expert and amateur archaeologist Anders Franzén found her.
