How to Book
Our website is full of inspiring itineraries already created for you to book. Most of the tours are self-guided, independent tours that can depart any day of the year. Prices and dates are indicative and we will quote you the actual cost when you send us an enquiry or booking request. We also have small group tours that are guided with our own team of experienced escorts.
Find the tour that matches what you would most like to do and we can either prepare this for you or modify the itinerary according to what else you wish to discover, your budget and amount of days.
When we are custom making a holiday for you, we have a minimum package of 3 nights / 4 days including transfers and suitable activities. Unfortunately, we do not sell hotel rooms, transport tickets or transfers independently.
Our region is very popular. Please consider booking early to guarantee your tour. In particular, we recommend booking these destinations as early as:
Iceland - 8 months in advance
Norway - 8 months in advance
Christmas tours - 12 months in advance

FLEXIBLE REBOOKING - Up to 10 days before departure, you may cancel or rebook your tour if booking is subject to forced amendments (border closure, forced quarantine or acts of war in one of your destination countries booked with us) due to COVID-19 or the Russia/Ukraine conflict. We will then hold the full deposit in credit which you can use towards a future booking with travel dates within 18 months from the original departure date. If the booking has been paid in full, we will offer to refund 80% of the tour price and hold the rest in credit, or we can hold the full payment in credit for you also.
Please note that in some cases we may have paid our local suppliers in full. In such cases we will do our best to move all funds paid to a new booking.
Exceptions apply to Christmas bookings, flights, cruises and voyages, which are subject to the terms & conditions of our partners and sub-contractors. Certain partners may also have specific conditions, of which we will inform you in the time of planning the tour.
If booking is cancelled by you for any other reason normal booking conditions apply.
PAY SECURELY - Pay online using our secure payment system provided by Stripe. Or pay by telegraphic transfer to our client funds account in DNB (Den Norske Bank, Norway), US Bank (USA) or NAB (National Australia Bank, Australia).
YOUR PRE-PAID FUNDS - When booking a tour with 50 Degrees North, your funds are paid into a Client Funds Account with a reputed bank; DNB (Den Norske Bank, Norway), US Bank (USA) or NAB (National Australia Bank, Australia). Your funds are securely locked away in the Client Funds Account until we are required to pay our suppliers for your travel arrangements. We are not utilising your pre-paid funds for day-to-day operations of our business until all your travel arrangements have been settled and your travel has commenced.
THE NORWEGIAN TRAVEL GUARANTEE FUND

50 Degrees North Nordic AS has, by law, issued a guarantee to the Travel Guarantee Fund (Reisegarantifondet or RGF), which protects you as the customer in the unlikely event that we should become insolvent.
