Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrive Copenhagen
Arrive Copenhagen at any time and check into your hotel in the centre of town. Private transfer from airport to your hotel is included. Go for a leisurely walk and enjoy twilight at Nyhavn with its celebratory feel and atmosphere.

Copenhagen has over the years become famous for its manifesto of New Nordic Cuisine. The city boasts 11 Michelin stars divided over 10 restaurants, and is home to the world's best restaurant, Noma. The city is also abundant with everything from small cosy pub style eateries, cafes with great coffee and establishments serving world class local beer.
Copenhagen is a wonderful summer city with numerous city squares and patios where restaurants open up to the street. The city centre is pedestrian and bicycle friendly, which creates a peaceful and enjoyable atmosphere.
You will go on a private royal tour of Copenhagen. Explore Copenhagen's Royal history with a visit to the city's three beautiful palaces and castles: Amalienborg Palace, the residence of the Royal family; Christiansborg, the King's working palace; and Rosenborg Castle, a former Royal country getaway set in sweeping gardens.
At Christiansborg Palace, tour the lavish Royal Reception Rooms where State visits, galas, and Royal audiences are held. Visit the Throne Room, the King's Library, and the Great Hall, which features fascinating modern tapestries depicting over 1000 years of Danish history.
After the tour, you can explore on your own by taking a canal tour, visiting the royal museum or go shopping for Scandinavian design. Don't forget to stop for coffee and some lovely danish bread/pastry from one of the many delicious bakeries.

Villa Copenhagen - Deluxe RoomDay 3 - Make your way to Kokkedal Castle
You will pick up your hire car in the morning at the car hire office in the centre of town setting off towards the nothern part of the Sjælland Island with map and GPS in hand. Driving in Denmark is not daunting at all, but is on the right hand side of the road. We suggest taking the scenic route up the coast for some breathtaking scenery.
Drive to Kokkedal, checking at Kokkedal Slot (Castle) is from 3pm.

Day 4 - Enjoy Kokkedal Slot and surrounding area
Set on a stunning stretch of coastline, just north of Copenhagen, Kokkedal Castle Copenhagen is one of Denmark’s most exclusive castle hotels. For more than 250 years, Kokkedal Castle has lent its stately salons and verdant parkland to aristocratic country life – a manor home with soul and history.

Day 5 - Leave for Dragsholm via Roskilde.
Driving via Roskilde to Dragsholm Castle offers a mix of cultural, historical, and scenic highlights along the way. You can choose your route based on what you want to see and experience along the way. Some highlights include Tuse Næs Peninsula, Holbæk and Odsherred.
Check into Dragsholm Castle and enjoy a two night Gastronomy stay. In the afternoon enjoy a short herb walk with a Nature Guide. This tour will awaken your senses with flavourful surprises in a beautiful landscape. Explore Dragsholm Castles forest, fields, and beach, where you can see and taste the herbs used in the castle kitchen.

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at Dragsholm Slot Bistro.
The rest of the day is free to sit back and let yourself be pampered in the castle's elegant and luxurious rooms, take a walk along the beach, enjoy the park, the bastion or experience the landscape that surrounds the castle by bike.
The activity today is wine tasting with the castle's sommelier. Taste three Danish and European wines from award winning vineyards.
Later in the evening enjoy dinner at the Michelin-starred restaurant Dragsholm Castle Gourmet.

After breakfast, the day is at your disposal to drive back to Copenhagen. The car hire is included for the full day. Visit the beautifully situated Louisiana Museum of Modern Art.
