Iceland tour option 1: Best of Iceland, 12 days
Our 12-day premium tour Best of Iceland begins in Reykjavik with a gourmet dinner at one of Reykjavik's finest restaurants and a superior room for two nights at a stylish boutique hotel. On day 3, you will drive along the famous Golden Circle and begin exploring southern Iceland exploring southern Iceland, including the hot springs at Geysir, the Gullfoss waterfalls and the Þingvellir National Park. The following two days are spent exploring the area near Skaftafell and Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon while again staying at a superior boutique accommodation.
On day 6, journey further east to the small village of Fáskrúðsfjörður (Faskrudsfjordur), followed by two days at the otherworldly Lake Mývatn area, a hotbed of volcanic landscapes. On day 9, embark on a 3-hour whale watching tour in a silent electric boat, followed by a drive further east to a small Icelandic fisherman village with a night in a deluxe room at the Siglo Hotel.
On day 10, travel along the Snæfellsjökull National Park before retiring for a good night’s sleep in your deluxe room at the Hotel Budir. Your last full day before heading back to Reykjavik is spent at the famous Blue Lagoon, one of the 25 wonders of the world.
