Satu is our Director of Product, based in Norway. Originally from Finland, she grew up near Tampere, the country's second-largest city, in a small town surrounded by lakes and ridges, the kind of landscape that tends to stay with people.

She first came to Norway 20+ years ago, drawn by the fjord region, and after years of returning she made it her home, settling here after completing her studies in Ireland and France.

Satu has worked in tourism since her student days, across most levels of the industry, from raft guiding and travel writing to sales and operations and now product. She rarely travels without a camera and a notebook, and much of what she has seen across the north finds its way into the journeys she designs.
