Your day begins with a warm welcome at your hotel by a knowledgeable local guide. Over refreshments, get insider tips on what to see, do, and eat in Copenhagen, plus practical info to help you navigate the city. You'll have time to ask questions and tailor your plans.
Later, enjoy a private Culinary Experience Tour, exploring the best of Copenhagen’s food scene. Sample artisan cheeses, gourmet chocolate, and seasonal treats like organic hot dogs and open-faced rye sandwiches. Along the way, visit popular local spots and landmarks, learning about the city’s history and its rise as a culinary hotspot. The tour wraps up back at Torvehallerne, where you can continue exploring or shop at your leisure.
Transfer to Dragsholm Castle located 5km from Hørve, a comfortable 1.2hr drive from Copenhagen. Dragsholm Castle is a historic building in Zealand, Denmark, with a long and varied history as a palace, a fortress, a prison and a baroque castle. Renowned for its Nordic cuisine, this castle uses local ingredients like vegetables from Lammefjorden and wild herbs from the surrounding area.
In the afternoon enjoy a short herb walk and experience the natural riches and stunning landscape of the UNESCO Global Geopark Odsherred. Nature guide Jørgen Stoltz, an expert in local flora, collaborates with head chef Jesper Foldager to transform these herbs into extraordinary dishes. Explore Dragsholm Castle’s forest, fields, and beach, where you can see and taste the herbs used in the castle kitchen.
The rest of the afternoon is free to explore the castle and its surroundings, This evening enjoy a 3-course menu at Dragsholm Slot Bistro.
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the Bistro before spending the rest of the day, free to sit back and let yourself be pampered in the castle's elegant and luxurious rooms. Take a walk along the beach, enjoy the park, the bastion or experience the landscape that surrounds the castle by bike.
Included today is a wine tasting with the castle's sommelier. Taste three Danish and European wines from award winning vineyards. Later in the evening enjoy dinner at the Michelin-starred restaurant Dragsholm Castle Gourmet.
After a leisurely breakfast a private Limousine transfer will be arranged to drive back to Copenhagen Airport and travel onwards.
