Celebrating Christmas at Lyngen Lodge

Join us for a Christmas celebration to remember at Lyngen Lodge in Northern Norway.

High above the Arctic Circle of Northern Norway, Lyngen Lodge is a small personable lodge with top quality cuisine and a fantastic location above the Lyngen Fjord. This is where the mountains meet the fjords and un-spoilt nature lies at the doorstep. It provides active people & families a unique combination of rustic Scandinavian log cabin accommodation in a wilderness setting, wonderful hospitality and guided adventures into spectacular mountain and fjord landscape scenery close by. Northern Norway Lyngen Lodge

Lyngen Lodge caters for 18 guests in 8 en-suite twin and double bedrooms with triple and single options - these rooms are compact but very comfortable. The lodge provides full board accommodation and amenities include a fully licensed bar (drinks not included), dining room, lounge stua with large open fireplace, library/seminar room, sauna and outdoor Jacuzzi.

The lodge is run like a 'home away from home' where you get out & about during the days to explore the winter wonderland and then relax around the fire and socialise during the night. Whilst there are some quiet nooks to read in, if you enjoy mingling with other guests and relaxing over dinner, you will get the most out of your experience here at Lyngen Lodge.

We have a small group at Lyngen Lodge for our exclusive Christmas program, and packed it full of adventures, relaxation, hearty local cuisine, fishing, dog sledding, Christmas traditions and if nature permits; the spectacle of the Northern Lights.

For the full Christmas experience, we suggest combining your Lyngen stay with visiting Christmas markets and town lights in Oslo, Tromsø or another Nordic capital beforehand. Post tour, New Year's Eve is also a pretty incredible experience with massive firework shows or smaller individual party firework shows. Fireworks are sold at most supermarkets before New Year's Eve.
