Although this hike is relatively long (approximately 11km, 5.5hrs), the terrain is quite manageable. The locals recommend this hike since it is easily accessible, giving you a sense of exploration and adventure, as well as a sense of accomplishment as you admire the view of Northern Europe's Largest Canyon and the famous salmon fishing river - Alta River.
If you are there in late October, depending on the weather, the hike will change to the shorter waterfall hike.
