    Itinerary

    Day 1 - Arrive Rovaniemi, transfer to Pyhä and settle into your accommodation

    Arrive at Rovaniemi Airport and meet your driver for a shared transfer to Pyhä (approx. 1.5 hours). Upon arrival, check into your accommodation and settle into the peaceful fell landscape of Finnish Lapland.

    The remainder of the day is at leisure to relax, explore the snowy surroundings, or enjoy the facilities at the resort.

    Day 2 - Aurora Hunting by Heated Sleigh

    Begin your first full day with a leisurely breakfast and the chance to take in the peaceful surroundings. The day is yours to enjoy at a relaxed pace; unwind, explore the area, or simply settle into the atmosphere of the Arctic wilderness. As night approaches, weather and conditions allowing, you'll experience the magic of the Northern Lights in comfort. Board a heated sleigh and glide through the snowy wilderness under the Arctic night sky. Your guide will take you to the best viewing spots while you stay warm and cozy inside the sleigh.

    This is a truly unique way to hunt for the Aurora Borealis without braving the cold.

    Day 3 - Snowshoeing & Ice Fishing, transfer to Sunday Morning Resort

    Today, venture into the pristine wilderness on a Snowshoeing & Ice Fishing adventure. Crunch through deep snow underfoot, surrounded by snow-laden trees and the silence of Lapland’s winter. Your guide will share insights into local flora and fauna—keep an eye out for Siberian jays or willow grouse.

    At a frozen lake, drill through thick ice, bait your hook, and see if you can catch a perch. Warm up by a fire with a hot drink before returning.

    Later, transfer to Sunday Morning Resort and settle into the resort overlooking Pyhäjärvi Lake. Enjoy dinner and unwind in serene surroundings.

    Day 4 - Winter Adventures in Pyhä

    During your stay, your programme includes a variety of Arctic activities, arranged by the resort and enjoyed at a relaxed pace in any order.

    One of the highlights is a visit to a traditional reindeer farm, where you’ll meet Lapland’s most iconic animals. A peaceful sleigh ride through snowy forests sets the tone, followed by a hearty Lappish lunch served with warm local hospitality.

    You’ll also embark on a thrilling 5‑kilometre husky safari, racing through frozen landscapes with an enthusiastic team of huskies leading the way. The experience captures both the energy and serenity of the Arctic wilderness.

    At another point during your stay, you’ll set out on an E-snowmobile safari. Riding a silent, eco‑friendly electric snowmobile, you’ll climb across the fells and reach sweeping viewpoints—ideal for taking in Lapland’s most breathtaking scenery.

    As night falls, your adventure continues with an aurora quest by car. Your guide leads you deep into the fell terrain, far from light pollution, where the vast Arctic sky opens above you. With clear weather, the stars—perhaps even the Northern Lights—create a magical atmosphere.

    Day 5 - Winter Adventures in Pyhä

    On your second day, you’ll continue with the remaining elements of your programme, scheduled by the resort. These may include the eco‑friendly electric snowmobile safari across the fells, the thrilling 5 kilometre husky safari through frozen landscapes, the visit to a traditional reindeer farm with a peaceful sleigh ride and Lappish lunch, or the aurora quest by car.

    As the day winds down, you’ll return to your accommodation for a relaxed evening, reflecting on your Arctic experiences and the unforgettable landscapes you’ve explored.
