Visit one of Europe’s largest maritime museums in Tallinn
Great for children and adults
We recommend visiting the Seaplane Harbour during a trip to Tallinn. This harbour accommodates one of Europe’s largest maritime museums (with many fun things for kids as well).
The museum is located in the Tallinn aeroplane harbour in a building originally constructed as a hangar for seaplanes in the area of Peter the Great's Naval Fortress. Submarines such as the authentic submarine Lembit from the 1930-s, the century-old steam-powered icebreaker Suur Tõll, a Short 184 seaplane and many other life-sized exhibits are on display here. Open 10:00 - 18:00. Closed Mon.
