Gunnebo House
Gunnebo House and Gardens is one of Sweden's foremost 18th century facilities and is beautifully situated between the lakes Stensjön and Rådasjön in the city of Mölndal, just south of Gothenburg, West Sweden. It is now a museum with extensive grounds and gardens.
Head chef, Patrik Sewerin, has developed a well known restaurant using only the organic products found on the ground and area.
The buffet lunch at the restaurant—book if you are going —is the main reason why this place is worth a day trip from Gothenburg. The food is excellent, from the fresh fish to the creative salads, and the relaxed ambiance feels perfectly Scandinavian.
