1. Introduction

This statement sets out North Travel Group's work on due diligence assessments relating to fundamental human rights and decent working conditions for the financial year 2025, pursuant to section 5 of the Norwegian Transparency Act (Åpenhetsloven). It is prepared as a consolidated report for North Travel Group.

The purpose of the Norwegian Transparency Act is to promote enterprises' respect for fundamental human rights and decent working conditions and to ensure public access to information on how enterprises address actual and potential adverse impacts.

North Travel Group supports the purpose of the Act and seeks to conduct its business in a responsible and transparent manner.

2. About North Travel Group

North Travel Group is a tourism group specialising in travel experiences in the Nordic region and related destinations. The Group designs and sells travel products and itineraries for international travellers, primarily from Australia, the United States and Europe.

North Travel Group was established in July 2025 through the combination of existing incoming tour-operating businesses, including 50 Degrees North Group and Nordic Tours Group. These companies plan and deliver tailor-made trips and group tours that combine accommodation, transport, excursions, activities and local services across a wide range of Nordic destinations.

North Travel Group works with a broad network of business partners and suppliers across the tourism value chain, including accommodation providers, transport providers, excursion and activity operators, guides, destination partners and other local service providers. Across the Group, there were on average 109 employees in 2025, corresponding to about 89 full-time equivalents.

3. Governance, policies and routines

North Travel Group is in the process of establishing supplier governance, code of conduct requirements and follow-up of business partners in line with the minimum requirements of the Norwegian Transparency Act. Overall responsibility for the Group's work under the Transparency Act rests with group management, while day-to-day coordination is handled by the Group's sustainability manager.

Responsible business conduct and due diligence regarding fundamental human rights and decent working conditions are being integrated into the Group's supplier and partner processes as part of the current implementation work. In this phase, the Group builds on existing sustainability policies, supplier expectations and internal routines that have been developed over time within the tour-operating companies, particularly within 50 Degrees North.

The Group's work is supported by an existing Supplier Code of Conduct developed by 50 Degrees North, which sets out expectations regarding legal compliance, human rights, working conditions and environmental performance. This Code is currently being used as a basis for the Group's expectations towards suppliers and is planned to form an important tool in the further development of supplier governance and future follow-up of business partners across North Travel Group.

4. Due diligence and risk areas

North Travel Group recognises that the most material risks related to fundamental human rights and decent working conditions are associated with the operations of its tour-operating companies and their supply chains. Based on the nature of the Group's business, the main potential risk areas are linked to third-party suppliers and business partners involved in delivering tourism services.

Relevant supplier categories include:

  • Accommodation and hospitality services
  • Transport providers
  • Excursion and activity operators
  • Local guides and destination partners
  • Subcontracted tourism services
  • Businesses relying on seasonal or temporary labour

Potential risk in these areas may include challenges relating to working hours, wages and contractual conditions, health and safety, use of subcontractors, and the practical implementation of labour and human rights standards in parts of the tourism value chain.

As of June 2026, the Group has not become aware of any confirmed breaches of fundamental human rights or decent working conditions in its own operations or among key suppliers. This assessment is based on the Group's current knowledge and ongoing dialogue with suppliers, and may be updated if new information emerges.

5. Measures and ongoing work

The Group has established policies and expectations relevant to responsible business conduct through its broader sustainability work, including supplier expectations, sustainability policies and related follow-up of business partners. Existing sustainability work within 50 Degrees North, including supplier engagement on climate performance, has already influenced how certain suppliers are selected and followed up in practice.

In 2026, the Group will continue to develop its work under the Transparency Act in a manner proportionate to its size, business model and risk profile. This includes continued work on supplier governance, further integration of due diligence considerations into ordinary supplier and partner follow-up, and gradual development of a more structured basis for risk-based assessment where relevant.

The Group expects to continue using and refining existing tools, including the Supplier Code of Conduct and related supplier governance processes, as part of its ongoing work to prevent and mitigate potential adverse impacts in the supply chain. Over time, this is expected to contribute to an improved overview of relevant risk areas, more consistent communication of expectations to suppliers and business partners, and a stronger basis for future due diligence work.
