Day 2 - Husky Safari and Aurora Hunting by heated sleigh

Driving a team of huskies over the white, shimmering fells is an experience that is almost mandatory during a trip to Lapland. The husky safari starts just a short drive away from the resort and takes you on a fast-paced trip over the untouched snow of the fells and surrounding forests. This is an experience that you will never forget!

Note: We have two-person sleighs and the ride is approximately 30 minutes, covering around 5 kms. Each sleigh is ridden by one of the guests. However, during early winter and when there’s little snow, seats will be available in sleigh ridden by the guide, instead.

This evening, take a seat in the cozy Aurora sleigh and get ready to be amazed! Guided by an expert, the sleigh glides through the snowy landscape, far from any light pollution. Once you reach the destination, prepare your cameras to capture stunning photos of the magical northern night sky, if they grace us with their presences. You wait for the Northern Lights to appear in comfort by the fire, enjoying hot drinks and listening to tales until someone spots the first flare.

Day 3 - Searching for Santa

A set of playful, unforgettable experiences for the young and the young at heart, where the enchantment of Christmas comes alive for families at the Northern Lights Village.

Join Santa's cheerful helper Elves as your guides for a day (3 hours) filled with joyous experiences that will leave lasting memories. The magic begins with a heartwarming gingerbread baking session in the elves' cosy kitchen hut. As you enjoy creating delicious cookies, the Elves will lead you to meet Santa's magnificent reindeer, followed by a short ride through the forest.

Next, it's time to embark on a quest to discover Santa's hidden cabin. If you're able to locate the cabin, you'll be warmly welcomed by Santa himself, who will invite your family for an intimate conversation and present a symbolic gift for both the children and the adults.

Parents/Guardians are expected to actively participate in order to enhance the experience for their children - For equality reasons, we’re unable to have Santa give presents purchased by parents. This is a small group tour and the meeting with Santa is approximately 10 minutes.
