Aarhus, Denmark: What's trending now

Århus is Denmark’s second largest city and in a league of its own.

Århus is Denmark’s second largest city and in a league of its own. Only a 3 hours train ride or a 40-minute flight from Copenhagen, Århus is well worth a visit.

There is a lot to do in Århus, such as visiting Aros, which is home to your Rainbow Panorama or Den Gamle By (Old Town), which will take you on a journey through Denmark’s history. Århus is also renowned for its unique shopping & café culture.

Trending Århus this autumn:

Brunch – Klassisk 65 – a French inspired Bistro, serving buffet style brunch consisting of homemade nutella and Danish sweet treat “brunsviger”, omelets to order and did I mention homemade nutella?

Jewelry – Julie Sandlau – New concept store opened in central shopping center Bruuns Galleri, presenting a luxury collection of glamorous jewelry. A woman’s best friend?

Shopping: The Latin quarter – the Paris of Århus catering to the design snob, the music fanatic & the foodie. My favorite place to go when I visit home.

Coffee – After all that shopping a coffee break is definitely needed – Sigfried’s kaffebar has some of the country’s best baristas making your coffee just the way you like it.

Night Life & Music – every Thursday, Fidel’s is opening up its doors to Salsa night. A great night filled with lots of dance, drinks & music.

Århus is waiting for you to explore on our Treasures of Denmark
