The CO2-e per person per day of all tours is carefully measured following each season. We fully offset all emissions of our tours on your behalf, and we constantly look at ways to reduce emissions where possible.
All transportation (by buses, trains, and boats) between destinations is included in the price. Arrival and departure transfers are included.
Arrive in Bodø and settle into your stunning new hotel, almost crafted entirely from wood. This modern yet cosy retreat offers the perfect blend of comfort and nature. After check-in, take a leisurely stroll around the forest nearby or catch a cab into the charming centre of this small Arctic city, known for its vibrant culture and scenic beauty.
Once you’ve explored, head up to the hotel’s rooftop for a relaxing session (small cost involved). Enjoy the panoramic views of the majestic fjords while unwinding in the outdoor pool, sauna, and fitness area - a serene way to take in the breathtaking landscape around you.
Later in the evening, your group leader will meet you in the hotel lobby for a warm welcome. You'll gather with your fellow travellers for a delicious welcome dinner at the hotel.
This morning, check out of your hotel and join a guided tour to Saltstraumen, home to the world’s strongest maelstrom. Every six hours, 400 million cubic meters of water rush through a 150-meter-wide, 3-kilometre-long strait, creating powerful whirlpools between Saltenfjorden and Skjerstadfjorden.
Next, visit a nearby Stone Age site, where you’ll step back in time to experience how early humans lived. Enjoy a small Stone Age-style tapas lunch, prepared using traditional cooking methods from the time, offering a unique culinary experience that connects you to the past.
By 13:00, return to Bodø for a short time before boarding a Hurtigruten/Havila Coastal Ferry, traveling like a local across the stunning waters to the Lofoten Islands while enjoying dinner on the way. You’ll arrive to Svolvær and Lofoten in the evening, where you’ll transfer to the small fishing village of Henningsvær where you will stay for the next 3 nights.
Start your day with a delightful breakfast at the Henningsvær Brygge Hotel, where you can enjoy a variety of local and international dishes in a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Join a guided walk through the picturesque fishing village of Henningsvær. This tour offers a unique insight into the local culture and history, with stops at various points of interest. Along the way, you'll have the opportunity to taste some of the region's finest delicacies, including fresh seafood and traditional Norwegian treats.
After the guided tour, take some time to explore Henningsvær at your own pace. Wander through the charming streets, visit local shops and galleries, or simply relax and soak in the stunning coastal scenery. In the evening, enjoy an independent dinner at one of Henningsvær's many excellent restaurants. Whether you're in the mood for fresh seafood, traditional Norwegian cuisine, or something more international, you'll find options to satisfy your taste buds.
Return to the Henningsvær Brygge Hotel for a restful night's sleep. The hotel's comfortable rooms and serene setting provide the perfect end to a day of exploration and adventure.
After breakfast, embark on a guided scenic tour of the Lofoten Islands. Your local guide will take you to the best photo spots, sharing captivating local stories along the way. You’ll also have the chance to stroll along some of Lofoten's most beautiful beaches, surrounded by dramatic landscapes. Discover also the fascinating world of the Vikings with a guided tour at the Lofotr Viking Museum, where you'll explore a reconstructed chieftain's longhouse, learn about Viking history and culture, and experience interactive exhibits that bring the legendary Norsemen's stories to life. We will also take a break for lunch at the museum.
Return to Henningsvær for an independent dinner, choosing from the village's excellent restaurants or dining at the cozy Henningsvær Brygge Hotel.
Start your day with breakfast at the Henningsvær Brygge Hotel before checking out. Embark on an exhilarating Sea Eagle Safari with a RIB boat, where you'll have the chance to witness these majestic birds in their natural habitat. After the safari, enjoy some free time for an independent lunch in the charming town of Svolvær. In the afternoon, transfer to Kvitnes Gård, where you'll be welcomed with an eco-farm tour that showcases sustainable farming practices and the beauty of rural life.
In the evening, indulge in a tasting menu dinner featuring locally sourced ingredients, crafted by Halvar Ellingsen, who was awarded the title of Best International Chef 2025 by the magazine Identità Golose. Ellingsen is the first Norwegian chef to receive this recognition, joining an exclusive circle of world-renowned chefs. Identità Golose praised Kvitnes Gård as "...an Eden far from everything..." where Ellingsen raises, fishes, and cultivates nearly all the ingredients you find on the plate.
Enjoy overnight stay at Kvitnes Gård, experiencing the tranquility and charm of this unique farm setting.
Start your day with breakfast at Kvitnes Gård, enjoying fresh, locally sourced ingredients. After breakfast, embark on a scenic journey through the picturesque landscapes of Vesterålen, heading towards Andenes. Along the way, stop for a leisurely lunch, taking in the stunning views and savoring the local cuisine.
In the afternoon, board the ferry from Andenes to Gryllefjord, crossing the beautiful waters and arriving in Senja. Senja, Norway's second-largest island, is known for its astonishing unspoiled nature. Senja features picturesque fjords, lush valleys, sandy beaches, and steep mountains rising vertically from the sea, and it is often referred to as "Norway in miniature".
End your day with a delicious dinner and an overnight stay at Hamn i Senja, where you can relax and unwind in this charming coastal setting.
*Note: in Hamn i Senja you will be staying in 2 or 3-bedroom Suites, where guests have their own individual lockable ensuite bathrooms and common living room area, kitchenette and either balcony or terrace with amazing views. *

Start your day with breakfast at Hamn i Senja, savoring the last moments in this beautiful coastal setting. After breakfast, transfer to Finnsnes, where you'll board the hurtigbåt (express boat) to Tromsø. Upon arrival in Tromsø, you'll be transferred either to the airport for your departure, or to your hotel if you wish to extend your stay independently in this vibrant Arctic city.

There is limited portage service in Scandinavia and your tour escorts cannot help you, beyond reason.
