TRAVEL INSURANCE - 50 DEGREES NORTH RECOMMENDATIONS

50 Degrees North strongly recommends that all travellers participating in any of our tours and/or expeditions hold adequate travel insurance for the full duration of their trip.

Ideally, your travel insurance policy should, at a minimum, cover:

• Medical expenses resulting from accident, injury and/or death, including those related to pre-existing medical conditions and/or disability

• Emergency evacuation and repatriation (including air evacuation where applicable)

• Personal liability and third-party risk

We also strongly advise you that your travel insurance includes cover for trip cancellation, curtailment, and loss or damage to personal belongings, including luggage.

We recommend arranging your travel insurance at the time of booking, to ensure you are covered should you need to cancel or amend your plans prior to departure.

Please note that travel insurance is not included in any 50 Degrees North tour.

50 Degrees North sells holidays worldwide, and insurance requirements and availability vary by country. Travellers are responsible for purchasing suitable travel insurance through a provider of their choice, either directly or via a travel agent, ensuring the policy is appropriate for their destination and itinerary.
