After breakfast, receive your hire car and travel 2 hours out to the PAN Treetop Cabins. Along the way, be sure to stop for any additional supplies you might like to take to your cabin. PAN Treetop Cabins offer a blend of seclusion and luxury amidst the natural beauty of the Taiga, also known as the boreal forest or snow forest. The cabins of 40 sqm, situated eight meters above the ground are designed with sustainable Scandinavian architecture and feature modern amenities and expansive glass windows offering views of the beautiful surroundings. This off-grid luxury retreat is for those seeking tranquillity and a deep connection with nature while enjoying modern comforts.

PAN Treetop Cabins has three cabins strategically placed approximately 100 meters apart, ensuring privacy without visibility into each other. Each cabin accommodates 4 people with two single beds and one double bed and is divided into distinct areas that also function as separate bedrooms. Amenities include electricity, running water, heated floors, a fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen with Miele appliances and a luxurious bathroom with a rain shower. Day 4 - Walking in the forest or paddling on the local river

After breakfast set off on a journey to explore your unique surroundings. Choose between a walk in the forest to track native wildlife or enjoy paddling on the River.

Option 1 - Enjoy a 2 hour Track Safari in the nearby forest accompanied by a private guide. The vibrant wildlife of Finnskogen offers exciting experiences. Join a guided Private tour to observe the forest’s inhabitants in their natural habitat. Perhaps you’ll be lucky enough to spot a moose behind a spruce thicket?

Option 2 - Deep in the heart of Finnskogen lie the rivers Kynna and Flisaelva, which are perfect choices for those seeking a serene wilderness experience. The paddle tour offers a trip on waterways that wind through the forest. Here you get close to nature, especially on the narrow rivers. If you are lucky and quiet, you can experience birds and beavers up close. Kynna is a watercourse with almost no rapids. This makes it easy to paddle and ideal for families and those who do not have much paddling experience. Kynndammen marks a natural end point for paddling trips on Kynna, but is also an important cultural monument from a bygone era of timber floating. The dam is one of very few of its kind in the country and has regional and national conservation value. (Class 1-3 river suitable for most paddlers across various levels of experience)

Lunch and dinner will be delivered to your cabin. The food offering at PAN is a crucial part of the property's commitment to sustainable tourism. Ingredients are sourced from local producers and the menu has a selection that varies based on availability and the season.

    Important Information

Guests are encouraged to explore the expansive natural surroundings, which include rights to forage for berries and mushrooms. The water from the well is rich in minerals, healthier than bottled water, and safe to drink directly from the tap.

We encourage you to stop along the way for provisions such as wine, beer and snacks.

A winding staircase encased in a wired cylinder leads up to the cabin. Natural light permeates through the wiring of the cylinder. Beneath the cabins, braided steel works support the structure. The cabins are not attached to the trees for safety reasons and to preserve nature. Instead of feeling the swaying of the cabins in the wind, the trees will move while the cabins remain still. The cabin is situated atop four pillars anchored to the natural rocky ground, ensuring the cabins are as safe as houses built on the ground. PAN Treetop Cabins are built to withstand the force of more than two hurricanes, making them secure for every weather condition experienced in this part of Norway.
