A short hike leads to Öxarárfoss waterfall.
Next, stop at Efstidalur dairy farm for organic homemade ice cream and views of Mount Hekla, with opportunities to interact with Icelandic cows, horses, and dogs. Continue to the Geysir geothermal area to see Strokkur erupt, followed by the majestic Gullfoss waterfall.

The scenic journey from Reykjavik to South Iceland offers a striking transition from lush lowlands to dramatic mountainous terrain, complete with glaciers and volcanoes. Your first stop is the iconic Seljalandsfoss waterfall, where, if conditions permit, you can walk behind the cascading water. Next discover the hidden Gljúfrabúi waterfall followed by Skógafoss, a magnificent 60-meter waterfall, perfect for photography and a moment of awe in nature's grandeur. Continue to Vík í Mýrdal, Iceland's only coastal village without a harbour, where sweeping views from the church provide a fantastic vantage point for photos. At Reynisfjara, the famous black sand beach, explore the striking coastal cliffs and watch as powerful North Atlantic waves crash onto the shore. Finally, cap off your adventure with a visit to Sólheimajökull glacier, where you can step onto the ice before returning to Reykjavik.
