Day 1 - Arrive and transfer to hotel

Arrival to Kajaani airport and transfer to Hotel Kalevala. Check-in to your room and prepare for a week of exciting activities.

Day 2 - Snow games, snowshoe walk and northern lights watch

After breakfast get-together with your New Year host; and get a few words
about the program. Guided Kalevala snow games: Let's get to know each other in the spirit of fun winter races! On these playful competitions you need co-operation skills and imagination.

After lunch, embark on a two-hour snowshoe tour through the taiga forest and across a frozen lake.

Following dinner, end the day with an unforgettable evening under the stars, enjoying a campfire picnic while waiting for a glimpse of the Northern Lights.

Day 3 - Sleigh rides and meeting Santa

Start your morning with a taster experience, sampling Finnish traditions through husky, reindeer, and horse sleigh rides.

Later in the afternoon, meet Santa. Santa Claus has a residence in Kuhmo, and after a busy Christmas, he is now well-rested and ready to warmly welcome guests to his office.

Day 4 - New Year's Eve party with DJ, dancing and celebrations

After breakfast, start your day with the exhilarating thrill of a one-hour snowmobile safari through the snowy landscape.

music/DJ, and a midnight celebration to welcome the New Year.

Day 5 - Nature and Music

After breakfast, freely try out sleds and toboggans on the hill or kick sleds on the ice, enjoy winter wonderland.

After these two, maybe also try a herbal jacuzzi, classical massage and peat treatments.
