    6 days - Short break in Finnish Lapland with all the essential elements of Nordic winter holiday.

    Comfortable accommodation and good Lappish food are the basic elements of a successful holiday. The main Lapland activities – snowmobile safari,husky safari, Reindeer and a northern lights tour are included. These short tours are suitable for beginners. Accommodation in hotel rooms or cabins, upgrade to the resorts special lodings - perfect for star gazing or an arctic overnight experience (supplements apply).

    Itinerary

    Day 1 - Arrival Day with transfers

    Arrival to Kittilä airport, transfer (approx. 1 hour) to Muonio, either Harriniva or Jeris. Accommodation in cosy double rooms or cabins. Dinner in the restaurant

    Day 2 - Husky Safari through the white forests

    After breakfast you have some free time to explore the local area. Then in the afternoon you will meet your guide and our happy huskies. After a guided tour of the husky farm and receiving driving and safety instructions, you will start the min. 15 km husky safari. 2 persons per sled with one driving, and a chance to swap drivers

    Day 3 - Reindeer Sleigh Ride and Northern Lights

    Breakfast in restaurant. Visit a traditional reindeer farm in the charming village of Torassieppi. Step back in time as you explore a 100-year-old Lappish farmhouse and a reindeer museum. Learn about the art of reindeer husbandry and try your hand at throwing a suopunki, the Lappish lasso. No visit is complete without a reindeer sleigh ride—test your driving skills on a scenic tour through the forest.

    In the evening you will be transported to a remote camp deep in the quiet, snowy forest, far from light pollution, offering you the perfect chance to gaze at the Northern Lights in their full glory.

    Day 4 - Snowmobile safari and Snowshoeing in the National Park

    Breakfast in the hotel restaurant. Explore Pallas National Park, the largest fell area in western Lapland on snowshoes. Hike up the fell for breathtaking views and experience the vast, untouched landscapes surrounding you.

    Later in the day meet your snowmobile guide, who will give you driving instructions and safety regulations. After that, you will start the safari. Venture into the frozen wilderness of Lapland on an exciting adventure that takes you through stunning snow-covered forests and across serene frozen lakes.

    Day 5 - Cross Country Skiing and Arctic Sauna World

    Today, experience two activities that the Finns are famous for – skiing and sauna.

    Finns are renowned for their skiing expertise, and now you can tap into your inner Finn! Learn the fundamentals of classic cross-country skiing, a great way to stay warm and active, even on the coldest days.

    Sauna and Finland go hand in hand, and this tour will immerse you in the fascinating history of the Finnish sauna. Discover what sets a Finnish sauna apart, the proper etiquette, and how to enjoy a refreshing plunge into the ice-cold lake. By the end of the tour, you'll have a newfound appreciation for sauna culture, whether in a public or private setting.

    Day 6 - Departure day

    After a relaxed breakfast, enjoy some free time to unwind or book an optional activity. Following lunch, you will be transferred to Kittilä Airport for your flight.

    Important Information

    • This program is suitable for those aged 5 years and over.
    • Please note that children under 18 years cannot drive the snowmobile and small children cannot drive the husky sled. They will be sitting in the guide’s sled during the safaris.
    • The driver of the snowmobile must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driving license.
