This morning, embark on a snowshoeing adventure through Lofoten's stunning winter landscape. Accompanied by a local guide, explore snow-covered trails and peaceful Arctic scenery, with the route carefully chosen to suit the day's weather and conditions. As you make your way through the mountains and valleys, take in spectacular views of the surrounding coastline while learning about life in Northern Norway. Along the way, stop for a wilderness lunch and warm drinks, and if conditions allow, gather around a small campfire to enjoy the tranquillity of the Arctic wilderness.

After some time to relax back at your accommodation, set out in the evening on a private Northern Lights tour. The aurora is a natural phenomenon caused by charged particles from the sun interacting with Earth's atmosphere, creating colourful displays across the night sky. Using their local knowledge and expertise, your guide will select the best locations based on current weather and sky conditions, which may include secluded beaches, quiet fjords or remote viewpoints away from artificial light. As you search for clear skies, learn about local culture, Arctic life and the fascinating folklore surrounding the Northern Lights while enjoying the comfort and flexibility of your private experience. Visit the impressive Lofoten Cathedral, built in the late 19th century to serve the thousands of fishermen who travelled here each winter.

Enjoy time to explore at your leisure before journeying through dramatic mountain scenery, scenic fjords and open coastal landscapes.

The tour also takes you to Gimsøya, known for its wide beaches and coastal views, before continuing to Unstad on Lofoten's wild surf coast.
