Loen

Loen is a tiny village on the fjord edge in Stryn Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. It is located in the inner part of the Nordfjord region, at the easternmost end of the Nordfjorden. Loen is located about 6 kilometres north of the village of Olden and about 11 kilometres southeast of the municipal centre of Stryn. It is home to a historic hotel, Hotel Alexandra and adventure outfitters.

It is a great spot to spend some time - swim in the glacier feed waters of the fjord, walk around the farms close to the village's centre or hire bikes and boats for some gentle activity. The Loen Skylift is approximately 5 minutes from the town centre and is a must-see for any visitor.
