Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrive Tallinn and transfer to your hotel

Arrive Tallinn. Private transfer from the port (airport transfer on request) to your hotel. Wander the design shops, art galleries and fashion boutiques in the Old Town, with the main focus on local Estonian brands and artists. Enjoy an optional ballet or opera performance at the Estonian Theatre before the day ends. If you wish, there is a food tour that you can join as well.

In the late afternoon to early evening, be sure to head to the Patkuli viewing platform on the north side of Toompea hill. On the right you'll see the Town Wall with its defensive towers. On the left lies Kalamaja and Pelgulinn areas with Railway Station as landmark. This platform allows you to have the complete view of the Old Town spread out below like a toy fort.

Day 2 - Private Walking Tour of Tallinn

Discover the sights and stories of Tallinn's beautiful Old Town and beyond on a 3-hour tour with a private guide. Explore the most interesting sights of the medieval Old Town, as well as some of Tallinn’s modern architecture.

The excursion will start with a brief history of Estonia and Tallinn as you enter one of the best-preserved Hanseatic towns in the world.
In the Upper Old Town, you can admire Alexander Nevsky Cathedral - the largest Orthodox church in the city - as well as the Houses of Estonian Parliament and one of the oldest churches in Estonia, the Dome Church. Experience the panoramic views from Toompea Hills over the Lower Town and the rest of the city of Tallinn.

In the Lower Old Town, you will hear stories about the people that lived here in the past, but also about present day life in Estonia. You’ll see the Gothic Town Hall, the Town Hall Square, and the Town Council Pharmacy, which is the oldest continuously functioning pharmacy in Europe, old merchant houses, and St. Catherine's Passage, the most picturesque of the Old Town's lanes.

We will leave the Old Town and continue to the Rotermann Quarter, which will give you a true taste of 21st century Tallinn. Here, the old industrial buildings have been given new functions and a modern look.

The rest of the day is yours to explore independently or relax.

Day 3 - From Tallinn to Saaremaa and Kuressaare

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and enjoy a private transfer to Tallinn Airport for a short domestic flight to Kuressaare, the charming capital of Saaremaa Island. Upon arrival, you’ll be met and transferred to the Ekesparre Boutique Hotel, a beautifully restored historic property located next to the town’s iconic castle and seaside promenade.

The rest of the day is yours to unwind and explore at your own pace. Stroll through Kuressaare’s peaceful streets, visit local cafés, or take a walk along the waterfront. With its relaxed atmosphere and small-town charm, Kuressaare offers a gentle transition from the bustle of the capital to the calm of island life.

Day 4 - Saaremaa and Kuressaare Highlights Tour

Embark on a half-day guided tour through Saaremaa’s peaceful landscapes and cultural sites. Visit the Kaali Meteorite Crater, Karja Church, and Angla Windmill Park, each offering a glimpse into the island’s heritage.

Return to Kuressaare for a guided visit to the Kuressaare Castle, a beautifully preserved fortress by the sea. Learn about its history and enjoy the museum before spending the evening at your leisure.


Day NaN - Pädaste Manor Retreat

After breakfast, enjoy a private transfer from Kuressaare to Pädaste Manor on Muhu Island, a tranquil haven nestled among juniper fields and coastal meadows. This historic manor, known for its understated luxury and serene surroundings, offers the perfect setting to unwind after your island explorations.

Day NaN - Leisure at Pädaste: Nature, Wellness & Cuisine

Enjoy a full day at Pädaste Manor, surrounded by the peaceful landscapes of Muhu Island. Whether you choose to cycle, walk to nearby sights like St. Catherine’s Church, or simply relax in the manor’s spa, the day is yours to spend as you wish.

In the evening, you may wish to dine at the manor’s acclaimed Alexander Restaurant, known for its seasonal menus and elegant setting. Advance reservations are recommended, and dinner is paid separately.

Day NaN - Scenic Return to Tallinn

After a final breakfast at Pädaste, your private transfer will take you back to Tallinn, passing through the scenic landscapes of Muhu and mainland Estonia. Enjoy views of coastal meadows, quiet forests, and traditional villages as you reflect on your journey.

Upon arrival in Tallinn, you’ll be dropped off at the airport or your city accommodation, depending on your onward travel plans.
