Arrive in Greenland’s vibrant capital, where Arctic nature meets modern city life. A shuttle transfer will take you to your centrally located hotel, giving you a first glimpse of Nuuk’s colourful buildings set against a dramatic mountain backdrop. Settle in and start soaking up the fresh Arctic air.
After breakfast, join a guided City Walk to uncover the stories, history, and daily life of Greenland’s capital. Stroll past the colonial harbour, the National Museum, and local landmarks while gaining insights into Inuit traditions and contemporary Arctic culture. The afternoon is yours to explore: visit local cafés, browse Greenlandic design shops, or take in the waterfront views.
Start your day with a hearty breakfast before setting out on an unforgettable Whale Safari. Sail through Nuuk’s fjords, keeping an eye out for majestic humpback whales, minke whales, and possibly even fin whales. With stunning mountain scenery all around, this is a true Arctic wildlife experience. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure, take a scenic walk, visit a museum, or relax at a cosy café.
Today, embark on the unique Qooqqut Nuan Catch & Eat experience. Cruise into the Nuuk Fjord to the remote settlement of Qooqqut, where you’ll try your hand at fishing in the pristine Arctic waters. Your freshly caught fish will then be expertly prepared by chefs at a charming restaurant, offering a true taste of Greenland. A day filled with nature, adventure, and incredible flavours!
