Norwegian Coastal Voyage sailing schedule gives you an idea of how the sailing works. The Norwegian coastal ships call at every port along the route between Bergen and Kirkenes. In the larger towns and cities you may have several hours ashore, or the option to join an excursion. At the smaller ports the stops are brief, usually 15 to 30 minutes, though you can normally still step ashore. Where no arrival time is given, it is a short stop.
