Enjoy the sights of Oslo, visit beautiful Copenhagen and modern Helsinki before setting course for St Petersburg of Russia, where you will have an overnight stay and plenty of time to take in the sights.
From here we set our course west again, and call at ports in Estonia before we end the voyage in Stockholm, the 'Venice of the North'. Enjoy the comfort and relaxed atmosphere on board our newest explorer ship, MS Fram, whilst we take you to the pearls of the Baltic Sea following the trade routes of the Hanseatic League.

Named after the ship used by famous Norwegian Explorer Fridtjof Nansen, MS Fram’s interior has been inspired by Greenland and the Arctic region.Ms Fram is a purpose built 12,700-ton vessel that incorporates all the best of both practical and traditional design. She was built in Italy in 2007 and has 254 berths.
As with all our ships the decor includes original artwork and superbly appointed interiors that have been inspired by the Arctic and Greenland regions, with a main reception area, a glass-enclosed observation salon and excellent leisure facilities, including gym, sauna and heated Jacuzzis. Items of the original Fram will also be displayed throughout the vessel, linking the present MS Fram with the rich history of its illustrious past.

Important for St Petersburg, Russia: Please note that excursion participants will not need a visa to Russia. If you choose not to purchase any excursions and explore St Petersburg on your own, you will need to apply for a personal tourist visa. Day 1: Embark in Oslo
On Bygdøy, a short ferry ride from the city centre, you can find the Fram museum, where the original explorer ship Fram is located. We recommend a visit to this historic relic and a city tour of Oslo before you board the new Fram, the MS Fram.

Today is spent sailing through the Baltic Sea. In addition to fish, this sea also provides amber, especially from its southern shores. The countries that line its shores have traditionally produced lumber, wood tar, flax, hemp and furs. All this making it a rich trading region since Roman times.
Relax on the balcony and watch the world go by. Make time for lectures and entertainment as well.

St. Petersburg boasts over 1,000 architectural and historic monuments, including the former imperial palace, which houses the collected treasures of the Tsars.
You arrive in time to enjoy many excursions in St. Petersburg, a city founded in 1703 by Tzar Peter the Great and one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. Also known to the world as the "Northern Capital of Russia" and the "the Venice of the North", St Petersburg was virtually unharmed by the 1930-50s Stalinist reconstruction, and it’s downtown dazzles the eye of the visitor with splendid palaces, stylish monuments, straight avenues, beautiful bridges and other attractions. St. Petersburg is filled with history and mystery.

The 700-year old capital of Sweden is one of the most beautiful cities in the world and is spread over 14 islands, connected by some 50 br 1266 idges. Wander around the enchanting medieval Gamla Stan, the original old town; visit the fascinating Wasa Museum, housing the world’s oldest identified ship or just enjoy the fine restaurants and elegant shops of the Strandvagen.
