The island of Sandoy is a large playground with something for everyone. Explore the beach, the picturesque villages, the sheep grazing on the green mountain sides, and the many lakes where you can fish. In the old days, there lived many witches, trolls, and Vikings on the island, so there are plenty of exciting stories. One legend that needs to be experienced together with a local guide, is the story about the Witch Hole. One can still clearly see the witch's footprint. Afterwards we suggest a drive to the beach at Søltuvík (good idea to take a picnic along). Overnight on Sandoy.
